General Dentist

Dr. Cynthia Abella is a native of the Caribbean Island, Puerto Rico. She completed both her undergraduate and graduate studies on the Island and graduated from Dental School in 2009. Dr. Abella was recruited while in Dental School, by the US Navy and commissioned as a Lieutenant upon her graduation. She completed an AEGD (Advanced Education in General Dentistry) program where she learned how to work with both adults, teenagers, and children. In the Military she learned how to do multiple procedures under all kinds of circumstances and scenarios, preparing her for work in Civilian Practice. She joined Just Kids Dental in 2016.

Dr. Abella loves working with teenagers and children. She believes she can have a positive impact on them by teaching them about Oral Health in a fun, but relatable way. She takes on the role of cool Aunt, so that kids will listen to her, while providing valuable information for the parents as well.

In her spare time, Dr. Abella loves to try new restaurants with her husband, ride her bike and play with her two Siamese cats, Carabelli and Chambly.

General Dentist

Dr. Billy Hall is a General Dentist and has been practicing dentistry for 40 years. A native of Memphis, Tennessee, he began his career as a family dentist in a small rural town in West Tennessee. After 15 years in the private sector, Dr. Hall shifted his practice and began working for The Church Health Center, a non-profit organization in Memphis focused on providing dental care to the working uninsured population. In 2009, he partnered with Just Kids Dental to fill a void in the dentistry world by providing quality dental care to low-income children in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Today, Dr. Hall is the dental director for all three Just Kids Dental locations.
